There's no law against living the good life

Considered one of the chicest and most famous clubs in Munich – and perhaps in all of Germany – P1 regularly attracts the crème de la crème of the city as well as international celebrities, football players, actors, and models.

The infamous Munich nightclub is situated underneath the Haus der Kunst museum and it's been around for years and years and years - since 1949 apparently, with various owners.

P1, so beloved of Euro-posers, has recently been given a re-furb by the renowned designer Matteo Thun and is now even more stylish. The new interior is very, very white, a clear and attractive space.

The beautifully decorated venue consists of two large rooms, each with its own DJ spinning a host of different genres. There are two long bars in the main room, where one can linger with a drink, before heading into the club room and hitting the dancefloor. There's even a cool chill out space with its own separate bar, video screens on the walls and tinkling water fountains. A hazy purple glow from the recessed ceiling mixes with flickers of bright marigold lights on the walls to create a rather surreal atmosphere inside, while a candlelit terrace offers comfy leather sofas and a bit of fresh air to patrons in need of cooling off after letting loose on the dance floor.

While there is no cover charge at this super-posh club, P1 makes up for it with expensive drinks and a tough door policy – but once inside, patrons are guaranteed a luxurious evening with great music and good-looking company.

Laboratories are different!

In Munich there is such place where I always want to come and spend my evening time with my friends. It has medical name, but it doesn't concerned to doctors or to the certain horrible procedures.

"Das Labor" - is the bar, created by the bartenders, where the staff do not have the goal of "heat" a guest and get this dubious benefit. At this place you will never be poisoned by cheap swill and friendly staff will always do anything to make you to come back here again, not only because of the democratic price, not because it is cheap, but because it's cool.

"Das Labor" is always in trend of cocktail fashion, sometimes even a step ahead!
At a time when Sambuca has become fashionable - this bar was tired of it a couple years ago!
So, you should know that what it is now fashionable in night club, for "Das Labor" it is the past time. But it does not mean that there you can't  enjoy  your favorite Pina Colada, moreover,  it is possible to try different options of it and decide which is the best.
Submission of the ordinary drink at the "Das Labor" becomes unusual. Bartenders do not make a show of tossing bottles or classic technique - for them it is usual work, they focus on you and your beverage. This bar is not afraid to experiment.

Also there is lounge zone, where you will be served by affable waitresses  in white robe. Cosy sofas and small tables, just for drinks.  There is no cuisine and actually it doesn't have to be.
People who are there, just want to drink and to dance, where elektro music plays.









"Das Labor" is quite new place for nightlife, but nevertheless it is already famous in the city. Süddeutsche Zeitung published an article about it and now the bar is updating with new clients.
It is really unusual place! At least there is gynecological chair and nobody knows for what.

Back to the past at Film Casino

Do you know the period of 1920s, which is called "Roaring Twenties","Jazz Age" or "Golden Age Twenties"?! When jazz music became widely popular, when casino with its mafia arose and when fashion entered the modern area with flapper dresses, short skirts and bobbed hair.

And if yes...your dream can come true if you visit Film Casino on Odeonsplatz right in the centre of  Munich. This is an amazing  dinner club, which consists of two floors. I call it - all-rounder club.





The first function space is the Terrace.  This beautiful veranda offers its guests the unique view over Odeonsplatz, Königspark and Theatinerkirche, as its located right on the property's courtyard.

This is the perfect place where you can enjoy appetizers in beautiful surroundings.

The second function space is Lazzy Moon.
The first and the second floors with pompous stairs, mirrors all over the walls, a large hall with a ceiling height of 6 meters, with the rich diversity of antique furniture and the playful aesthetics of Art Deco. Such style and design moves you back in the past of the 20s.

If you are starving before the party, this don't worry as there is a third function space, restaurant floor, as well, which offers delicious dishes which can be perfectly combined with the wide selection of exquisite champagne and wine.  This restaurant floor, which is otherwise known as the Nightclub becomes a club after dinner, hence the name.  This space is where it is all happening when its a full house.  So essentially the restaurant turns into a pulsating club!  So after dinner, the dining tables are removed and party gets started.

There are four bars decorated with film signboards and special red lights.  The competent bartenders. And believe me, there are no cocktails which the competent bartenders do not know. The selection of drinks is enormous.

And Music...what about music?!
It edits from 80s, 90s and a mix house, swing, electro and R'n'B. And of course, the integral part of this interior is the disco ball, which fills the whole space with its incredible rays.

During the night at Filmcasino you will come to know that it is not necessary to have a "time-machine" in order to go back in the past. Our presence in the past depends on the atmosphere where we are!
