Renovated and new

After almost seven years, Club Max & Moritz closed its doors. In the renovated and newly designed 1,000 square meters now, you can dance and flirte in two almost equal-sized areas. On 19 October 2013, the Gecko club for the Munich Party People opened its doors and is already becoming apparent that the club can be compete with security in addition to the competition.

After an intense remodeling the night club shines in a new light. The main floor provides with its innovative lighting design for a perfect party atmosphere. An absolute highlight is the three-dimensional LED-ceiling, which is a novelty in the Munich clubs. LED walls, a round bar and great acoustics provide the Gecko club with the finishing touches.

The second dance floor in Gecko club also enchanted with a new and stylish design. A well-stocked bar provides sufficient "fuel" supply, while the DJ plays on his desk. Gecko club can be described as "original, loud, excessively sexy". In order to get an accurate picture you sould visit the new club at Maximiliansplatz 5.

On weekends, the Gecko club opens its doors by 22:00.
Fridays attracts the "Urban Jungle" Party to fat beats and exuberant partying. The doorman attaches great importance to a well-groomed and fashionable outfit.
Saturdays are under the motto "Wild Style" and invites the Bavarian party people, who like charts, house and techno music. At the round bar not only a new drink can be ordered, also the round shape is perfect for a little flirtation with his opposite number. The drink prices are slightly below the level of Munich. Although the Gecko Munich seeks to attract a slightly older audience, there are still primarily the somewhat younger, who meet there to celebrate and to flirt.

Europe’s largest party area

22 clubs, pubs, after-hours snack bars and several concert stages, all in one spot – every night the Kultfabrik lures party animals from Munich and from far beyond the city gates to the former Pfanni factory located next to the Ostbahnhof train station. Stealthily, quietly and surreptitiously the location has developed into the place for the best in cultural events of dance. Even during the day there is a colorful mix when craftsmen, sports facilities and a child care center do their jobs and when serious flea-marketing happens on the weekend.

As the lights slowly dim in the evening, the main event starts at the Kultfabrik.

The musical range encompasses House/Electro, Latin, Black Music, party hits and pop music as well as Schweinerock. The selection of locations ranges from cozy pubs to an enormous disco. Although one night seems almost too short to explore all the clubs you’ll find here, this is exactly what happens several times a year when the Kultfabrik invites its guests with mottos such as men’s night out, traditional costume party or Halloween. During such events, free attractions like bungee jumping, bull riding, swingboat or a monster truck show are on offer in the outdoor area.

Whether it’s live concerts, cabaret, or multi-facetted events, the Kultfabrik offers a varied cultural program every day.

As a concert and event hall the TonHalle is one of Munich’s top addresses. For more than a decade stars of the international music business have passed the mike to each other, while the NachtKantine next door offers casual dance’n’dine accompanied by the sounds of Salsa or tango as well as a varied, free band program (if weather permits in the beer garden with open air stage). The most recent addition, the Technikum, has provided first insights into the musical future at Ostbahnhof. Its goal is to enrich the planned factory quarter by offering another venue for cabaret, music and culture.

Kids, art and junk: This is also Kultfabrik.

The Kultfabrik already successfully combines art exhibitions, artists’ ateliers, retro charm and antique objects at regular flea markets as well as several facilities for children, such as the ErlebnisKraftwerk Kulti-Kids, all under one roof. Sports and leisure activities are represented in Europe’s largest climbing hall “Heavens Gate” and in the Capoeira studio Dance’n’Fight. A colorful mix makes the location an attractive venue for start-up centers such as the werk1München, and points the way for the development of the city quarter “Werksviertel München” which is planned to be established here in the next few years.

Let your heart beat....

Munich’s hottest hearts swirl it up.
The restaurant/bar Heart exclusively opened with a special pre-opening on May 18, 2010 in the city centre at the „Alte Börse”, where VIPs and press people celebrated a gorgeous night. The Heart is talk of the town, international and everybody's darling – universal with a symbolic name, comprehensive for all mankind.
“This is unique and something like that never existed before” says Ayhan Durak. Following the success of their already famous Munich locations "baby!", "flash box" or "Lenbachs & Söhne", the three founders Daniel Laurent, Nikias Hofmann and Ayhan Durak started their latest heart’s challenge with a mixture between restaurant, bar and nightclub.

The concept is unseen before in Munich: urban, cosmopolitan and stylish interior, the guests create the whole concept with vivid atmosphere, as a happening with arts and cultural events. First class fingerfood and drinks combined with innovative and avant-garde design style mix. In Heart starts the evening, comes the night and ending the morning with minimal tech-house music and groovy beats. The Heart is less a discotheque with a dance floor, but rather a place where people have excellent drinks and fine food all night long. Everybody is welcome! That is why it’s also called Heart - so let your heart beat, too...

The Heart in Munich beats in the golden mean at Lenbachplatz, surrounded by quality restaurants and trendy clubs. Built in neo-Renaissance style, in co-operation with ROBERTNEUN ™ architects, Berlin. For the Old Stock Exchange, they developed a dynamic concept that uses structural conditions intelligently and avant-garde combined with modern construction solutions. The whole interior has been designed especially for the Heart. On the ground floor, behind the lobby and reception the new kitchen was used with upstream wardrobe as an independent cube. Behind the ground floor windows and then indoors is the restaurant.

The well known and experienced cook Florian Gürster, leading already two other restaurants, is kitchen-chief of the Heart. He was also involved in the opening of Hakkassan in London. For the Heart he created international style finger-food and menus which includes “Steak Tartare” and “Tunasticks”, as well as the classic “Wiener Schnitzel” and many other delicious dishes.

Open your heart and enjoy the gorgeous service!

There's no law against living the good life

Considered one of the chicest and most famous clubs in Munich – and perhaps in all of Germany – P1 regularly attracts the crème de la crème of the city as well as international celebrities, football players, actors, and models.

The infamous Munich nightclub is situated underneath the Haus der Kunst museum and it's been around for years and years and years - since 1949 apparently, with various owners.
P1, so beloved of Euro-posers, has recently been given a re-furb by the renowned designer Matteo Thun and is now even more stylish. The new interior is very, very white, a clear and attractive space.
The beautifully decorated venue consists of two large rooms, each with its own DJ spinning a host of different genres. There are two long bars in the main room, where one can linger with a drink, before heading into the club room and hitting the dancefloor. There's even a cool chill out space with its own separate bar, video screens on the walls and tinkling water fountains. A hazy purple glow from the recessed ceiling mixes with flickers of bright marigold lights on the walls to create a rather surreal atmosphere inside, while a candlelit terrace offers comfy leather sofas and a bit of fresh air to patrons in need of cooling off after letting loose on the dance floor.

While there is no cover charge at this super-posh club, P1 makes up for it with expensive drinks and a tough door policy – but once inside, patrons are guaranteed a luxurious evening with great music and good-looking company.
