Munich’s hottest hearts swirl
it up.
The restaurant/bar Heart exclusively opened with
a special pre-opening on May 18, 2010 in the city centre at the „Alte Börse”,
where VIPs and press people celebrated a gorgeous night. The Heart is talk of the town, international and everybody's darling – universal with a symbolic name, comprehensive for all mankind.
“This
is unique and something like that never existed before” says Ayhan Durak.
Following the success of their already famous Munich locations "baby!", "flash box" or "Lenbachs & Söhne", the three founders Daniel Laurent, Nikias Hofmann and
Ayhan Durak started their latest heart’s challenge with a mixture between
restaurant, bar and nightclub.
The concept is unseen before
in Munich: urban, cosmopolitan and stylish interior, the guests create the
whole concept with vivid atmosphere, as a happening with arts and cultural
events. First class fingerfood and drinks combined with innovative and
avant-garde design style mix. In Heart starts the evening, comes the night and
ending the morning with minimal tech-house music and groovy beats. The Heart is less a discotheque with a dance floor, but rather
a place where people have excellent drinks and fine food all night long.
Everybody is welcome! That is why it’s also called Heart - so let your heart
beat, too...
The Heart in Munich beats in
the golden mean at Lenbachplatz, surrounded by quality restaurants and trendy
clubs. Built in neo-Renaissance style, in co-operation with ROBERTNEUN ™ architects,
Berlin. For the Old Stock Exchange, they developed a dynamic concept that uses
structural conditions intelligently and avant-garde combined with modern
construction solutions. The whole interior has been designed especially for the
Heart. On the ground floor, behind the lobby and reception the new kitchen was
used with upstream wardrobe as an independent cube. Behind the ground floor
windows and then indoors is the restaurant.
The well known and
experienced cook Florian Gürster, leading already two other restaurants, is
kitchen-chief of the Heart. He was
also involved in the opening of Hakkassan in London. For the Heart he created international style finger-food and menus which includes “Steak Tartare” and “Tunasticks”, as well as the classic “Wiener
Schnitzel” and many other delicious dishes.
